Who Played That Guitar Riff? Joe Bonamassa vs Eric Johnson
I have transcribed 5 riffs from these two great guitarists and it will be on you to guess “who played that guitar riff?”
Both of these gentlemen are very well respected guitarists in the blues rock genre and I suggest you go listen to them if you were unaware of them previously.
Both Joe and Eric rely heavily on the minor pentatonic and blues scales and the passages I have chosen do indeed show this to be true.
If you want to get these up to speed you are going to have to pay very close attention to the pick motions and follow them exactly how I show you in the video below.
